The Center for Minorities in Science and Engineering is hiring 4-6 full-time undergraduate interns and 2 part-time undergraduate interns to teach robotics to elementary and middle school students using LEGO Mindstorms. Students will receive three (3) weeks training prior to the start of the program. Experience teaching, programming, working with LEGO Mindstorms and working with elementary and middle school students is preferred.

Internship dates: June 16-August 5, 2009 (8 l/2 weeks).

Work hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 from June 16-July 2, 2009 Monday – Friday (July 3 is a holiday) and August 3 – August 5, 2009; Monday - Wednesday

Work hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. from July 6 – July 31, 2009, Monday - Friday

Weekend work may be required.

Salary range: $350-$450 per week (the higher salary will be paid based on experiences).
